John Miller has held various roles during his 44-year career at Lamar Advertising. Currently, as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Miller oversees the strategic direction of the company’s marketing efforts with a focus on developing and implementing sales tools, processes, and protocols to enable Lamar’s 1000+ sales representatives to meet ever-changing demands and grow the company’s $2.2 billion annual revenue. Miller devotes significant time to team development and mentoring employees to help them grow in their careers. In addition to his role at Lamar, Miller serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for Geopath and sits on the Marketing Committee of the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA). A graduate of McNeese, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 1981. He and his wife of 42 years, Mitzi, are the proud parents of three children and have eight grandchildren.
