OAAA collects personal information during 2026 Media Confernece event registration to support event functions like check-in and badge pick-up, communications, security, and more. Personally identifiable information (PII) collected during registration includes at minimum:
- Name
- Email address
- Company
- Job title
Other information may be collected and voluntarily supplied by the registrant during registration; OAAA uses these data points for internal or generalized demographic reporting only and are not shared widely. These categories include but are not limited to:
- Gender
- Birth date
- Work address
OAAA does not disclose, share, release, publish, disseminate, rent, or sell any PII to any third parties except to event Sponsors and the event venues. If You Send OAAA Personal Information
- If you choose to provide OAAA with personal information by sending an email to OAAA, by making an online purchase/registering online for an OAAA event, or by filling out a form with your personal information and submitting it through OAAA’s website, OAAA will use that information to respond to your message, to fulfill your order/request, and to help OAAA provide you with information.
- If you choose to make an online purchase or register online for an OAAA event, OAAA reserves the right to use your contact information to communicate special offers and relevant products and services available from OAAA, affiliate companies, and selected sponsors. You can opt-out by e-mailing OAAA at marketing@oaaa.org.
Your Right to Review and Modify Data and Information
- You have the right, at any time, to review and/or modify any of your personally identifiable information that you provide during registration, or any other voluntarily provided information.
- You may remove yourself from OAAA’s active database of email lists. To do so, send an e-mail to marketing@oaaa.org requesting that:
- (a) OAAA provide a copy of your profile of personally identifiable information,
- (b) OAAA update or modify certain personally identifiable information, and/or
- (c) you be removed from OAAA’s databases of active e-mail lists.
- OAAA will endeavor to comply with your request as soon as reasonably possible. To protect your confidentiality, OAAA can only send a requested profile to the e-mail address listed in the profile.
- In any event, OAAA’s back-up files will maintain copies of your personally identifiable information. OAAA reserves the right to contact former registrants or users of the website from time to time.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
- Due to changing technological and marketing demands, OAAA must reserve the right to change OAAA’s policies regarding the privacy of your personally identifiable information in the future. If that happens, OAAA will endeavor to promptly update this Privacy Policy. OAAA may also attempt to provide a message to registrants whose e-mail addresses OAAA has, in conformity with this Privacy Policy, advising of any such change(s).
